{"id":203609,"date":"2022-04-11T06:15:00","date_gmt":"2022-04-10T23:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/?p=203609"},"modified":"2022-04-11T07:20:24","modified_gmt":"2022-04-11T00:20:24","slug":"jetstar-and-indigo-ink-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/2022\/04\/jetstar-and-indigo-ink-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"Jetstar and IndiGo ink partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>SINGAPORE: 11 April 2022: Jetstar Group and IndiGo last week confirmed a new Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) interline partnership to enable Jetstar customers to book connections and flights on IndiGo services through its Jetstar Connect platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Launching at the end of this April, the virtual interline\npartnership between the two LCCs is made possible by a technology company and\nflight search engine, Dohop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.ttrweekly.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/jetstar-indigotails-600x338.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-203646 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 600px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 600\/338;\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The integrated booking engine allows customers to select\nflights and purchase both bundled and unbundled ancillary products, with\ncustomers connecting between international flights provided with seamless\npassenger and baggage transfer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jetstar&#8217;s Chief Customer and Commercial Officer, Alan\nMcIntyre, welcomed the partnership and said as the world reopens, it was great\nto offer Jetstar customers in Asia and Australia opportunities to travel to\nexciting new destinations in India through its partnership with IndiGo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe ability to partner with other LCCs through Dohop has\nopened a new world of possibilities, helping customers enjoy more seamless\nconnectivity throughout the region,\u201d McIntyre said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis new partnership enables Jetstar to offer our customers\nmore destinations, more frequency and better connectivity, by combining our\nexpanding network with IndiGo\u2019s, all at the click of a button, fulfilling our\nvision to make more travel affordable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJetstar Connect on jetstar.com provides more options for\ncustomers to access Jetstar\u2019s great value fares and an expanded number of\nlow-cost connections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis partnership opens up new services to Jetstar customers\nto incredible destinations such as Bengaluru, Mumbai and New Delhi through\nJetstar\u2019s hub in Singapore.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Changi Airport\nGroup\u2019s managing director for Air Hub Development Lim Ching Kiat said India was\na key market for Changi Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;In 2019, Singapore attracted over 1.4 million visitors\nfrom India to Singapore, and with the relaxation of border policies, India has\nranked among the top three countries at Changi in recent months.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cJetstar and Indigo are strategic partners of Changi Airport\nGroup, and we welcome this new interline partnership as it will offer\ntravellers more flight options at Changi Airport.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the second virtual interline partnership for the\nJetstar Group, following the Jetstar Group\u2019s interline with Tiger Taiwan in\nDecember 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SINGAPORE: 11 April 2022: Jetstar Group and IndiGo last week confirmed a new Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) interline partnership to enable Jetstar customers to book connections and flights on IndiGo services through its Jetstar Connect platform.
