Thai Vietjet supports vaccine campaign

-

BANGKOK, 22 June 2021: Thai Vietjet volunteers support medical staff to dispense Covid-19 vaccine jabs at Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon as one of the six airlines that make up the Thai Airline Association.

The association’s members are helping with registration and other routine activities to take the pressure of medical staff at centres in and around Bangkok.

Earlier this year, Thai Vietjet extended its offer of complimentary air tickets for frontline medical staff who are dealing with Covid-19 challenges on a daily basis. It started offering free tickets last June 2020, during the first wave of the pandemic. The programme will now continue until 31 December 2021 for members of the Thai Covid-19 Prevention & Control Committee as well as doctors and nurses working at 160 appointed hospitals for the treatment of Covid-19 patients in Thailand.
