Accor confirms Mondrian Singapore deal

-

SINGAPORE, 24 February 2021: Accor confirmed this week that Singapore’s first Mondrian hotel will be built in the city’s prominent Duxton Hill neighbourhood and is set to open in early 2023.

The property is being developed by Craig Road Property Holdings.

The news follows on Accor’s recent announcement concerning a venture with Ennismore that, if successful, will create a mega lifestyle and entertainment group that will also include Mondrian hotels.

Mondrian Singapore features 300 rooms and suites, a restaurant, a lounge and a rooftop bar in a property that reflects the heritage of Singapore’s centuries-old shophouses.

Mondrian Singapore will mark the introduction of the brand to Singapore, and further expansion of the brand is planned for other cities in  Southeast Asia.

It will open in early 2023, but brand expansion is in the pipeline with properties planned for the Dominican Republic, Germany, the Maldives, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Thailand, and Vietnam. Seven Mondrian hotels are due to open by the close of 2022.
