HO CHI MINH CITY, 4 January 2021: Pandaw a specialist river cruise company focusing on the Mekong Region and India has released details of its new Pandaw Suite collection due to launch this August.
A brand new feature the double size suites will be available on the company’s larger P Class ships that sail rivers in Vietnam, Cambodia and Burma.
Suites measure 336 square feet and include a private balcony and lounge with butler service. They are bookable for sailings from August 2021, when the company plans to resume cruises on the Mekong River in Vietnam and Cambodia and the Irrawaddy in Myanmar. Suite bookings come with a few extras such as complimentary champagne, a one-hour massage per person and personal butler service.
Price check
A “book now” flag on the email promotion supporting suite sales take you to the company’s home page. There are no obvious links flashing to point you to a suite booking page. A check of the cruises due to resume in August provides prices just for the twin cabin options. It takes two clicks to reach the “details and prices” for the cruises on offer, but still no price quotes for suites. Just the standard prices for “twin-cabins” on cruises in Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar jump off the page.

A 14-night cruise on the Irrawaddy River in Myanmar starts at USD5,990, while a seven-day cruise to Mandalay costs USD2,514.
