SINGAPORE, 24 November 2020: India Tourism, Singapore participated in a tourism webinar, Monday, hosted the Consulate General of India, Ho Chi Minh City.
Ten Indian tour operators, specialists in promoting and organising Buddhist circuit tours of northern India, took part in one-to-one meetings with the Vietnamese operators during the webinar.
India Tourism Singapore office has identified the potential of India in Vietnam’s outbound travel sector is highlighting priority areas such as adventure and rural tourism as well as emerging destinations in the northeast region of India where spiritual or Buddhist pilgrimage tourism is the main drawcard.
Vietnamese tour operators noted that tours that follow in the footsteps of the Lord Buddha would have massive potential in Vietnam for the millions of Buddhists once borders reopen.
