Qatar adds San Francisco to its network

DOHA, Qatar, 14 October 2020:  Qatar Airways has announced it will operate four weekly flights to San Francisco effective 20 December making it the fifth new destination launched since the start of the pandemic.

The San Francisco service will be operated by an Airbus A350-900 featuring 36 seats in business class and 247 seats in economy. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Qatar Airways continued operations to the US with flights to both Chicago and Dallas-Fort Worth.

Qatar Airways’ served Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, New York (JFK), Philadelphia, and Washington DC pre-Covid-19. By mid-December, the carrier plans to fly 55 weekly flights to nine destinations in the US.

The new Qatar Airways service will offer convenient connections from the US to global destinations in Africa, India (subject to NOTAMS), Nepal, Pakistan and South Africa.
