BANGKOK, 4 December 2019: Traveloka a travel booking site is offering customers access to the popular Japan Railway Pass.
The Japan JR Pass covers destination on train networks extending for 4,900 km in 18 prefectures (regions) including popular tourist destinations and attractions in Kansai region.
Traveloka is partnering directly with JR West to distribute the JR passes on its iOS and Android App.
Eligible for travel throughout Japan with time periods that vary from seven to 21 days, JR provides more affordable and efficient travel options, not just for JR owned and managed rail lines, but also for some bullet trains, buses, monorails, and ferries. The cost of a JR pass can be recouped in just one return trip from Tokyo to Kyoto.
This JR Pass initiative closely follows the launch of movie booking under Traveloka Xperience.
