EVA Air returns to Phuket

PHUKET, 2 December 2019: EVA Air has confirmed it will resume a direct Taipei Taoyuan to Phuket service to Phuket effective 2 April 2020.

The airline last served Phuket flying from Kaohsiung with a stop in Bangkok for just seven months in 1994.

EVA Air opened the new service for reservations last week. It will offer a three-weekly service using an Airbus A330-200.

Flights will depart on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday departing Taipei Taoyuan at 1105 and arriving in Phuket at 1420, according to timetable information provided by Airlineroute. The return flight will depart Phuket at 1530 and arrive in Taipei at 2100.

EVA Air’s subsidiary UNI Air served this route with MD90 from June 2000 to March 2003.
