Travelodge appoints Pattaya GM

BANGKOK 26 November 2019: Travelodge Thailand has named  Yothin Uthaphu as the new general manager at Travelodge Pattaya, Thailand.

Yothin worked his way up through the ranks, with a stint as the supervisor F&B department at Novotel Bangkok Siam Square. In 2005 he became hotel manager of Cha Da Thai Village Krabi

He later served as GM at U Chiang Mai and has worked for Accor Group, Marriott Hotels & Resorts, Centara Hotels & Resorts, Amari Hotels & Resorts and Outrigger Konotta Maldives.  

Travelodge Thailand’s senior vice president operation, Frank Clovyn commented: “His hands-on experience in the hospitality business, combined with his business acumen are the qualities we need in our executive management team.”

With over 1000 properties operating in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand in the budget sector, the brand is now expanding to Southeast Asia including Singapore and Thailand.
