PATA and SKAL hosts joint Christmas party

-

BANGKOK, 18 November 2019:  The first reported hearing of the traditional ditty ‘Jingle Bells’ was witnessed in Bangkok’s shopping malls last week reminding us to fast track our preparations for December’s festive season.

Taking its cue from Jingle Bells alert, the Thai capital’s top travel associations SKAL International Bangkok and the PATA Thailand Chapter announced they are joining forces once more for their combined Annual Christmas Charity Lunch.

Travel executives are invited to attend the joint lunch event,  Tuesday 11 December 2019 at the Radisson Blu Plaza Bangkok, that promises hearty festive fare and entertainment from 12 noon onwards. But make sure you reserve your seat for this end-of-the-year celebration usually attracts a full-house.

Aside from the opportunity to welcome in the festive season with industry colleagues and friends, the core objective remains to raise funds for charities.

The raffles and silent auctions are critical to the fundraising that supports important charities.

The two associations are asking travel and hospitality companies and organisations to donate prizes that will be raffled off to raise funds that will be presented to designated charities.

The annual festive season lunch usually attracts around 150 guests. To make reservations email: [email protected].

The four selected charities this year are:
The Bamboo School of the Mechai Viravaidya Foundation;
The Good Shepherd Sisters Centre;
PATA Foundation;
The Kusa Panyarachun Scholarship Fund (which helps students studying innovation and tourism-related courses in Thailand).

All donations will be highlighted, including your company name at the event and in pre-event marketing communications.
