Maharashtra fields WTM team

MUMBAI, 6 November 2019: India’s Maharashtra Tourism is showcasing the state’s tourism content to international travel buyers and travel consumers at this week’s  World Travel Market (WTM) in London.

The global travel exhibition is being hosted at ExCeL London.

RARE India founder, Shoba Mohan, is heading the Maharashtra Tourism team at the show along with Sejal Gopujkar, who heads the UK Office of RARE India.

Maharashtra State is best known for its culture, heritage sites, hill stations, and beaches while it is also recognised as a  hub of Bollywood and home to the financial Mumbai.

Commenting on the WTM promotion, Mohan said: “We are really excited to represent Maharashtra Tourism at the prestigious WTM London 2019. It will provide a wonderful platform for us to show global travellers the tourism potential and diversity of the state.”

RARE India represented Maharashtra Tourism at a roadshow also taking place in London during the WTM week.
