Radisson names GM for Cam Ranh resort

HANOI, 31 October 2019: Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh Bay has named Peter Tichy as its opening general manager.

The new beach resort stands on one of Vietnam’s most stunning stretches of beach on the country’s south-east coast. 

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Tichy has managed hotels in Russia, Sweden, Germany, Ukraine, Egypt, Nigeria and now, Vietnam.

He has previously managed four  Radisson Blu hotels, as well as properties under its sister brand, Park Inn by Radisson.

Cam Ranh Bay, is considered one of Asia’s most attractive new resort destinations.

Located on Long Beach, that stretches for 18 km on the coast of Vietnam’s Khanh Hoa province, Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh Bay has 292  rooms and suites, 36 pool villas, five F&B outlets.

Nha Trang is a  25-minutes drive from the resort while the transfer to  Cam Ranh International Airport takes around seven minutes. The airport has direct connections to Bangkok, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai and Seoul.

The recent opening of a new international Terminal 2 has accelerated the airport’s growth, with almost five million passengers now arriving and departing each year.

Vietnam’s hospitality industry is booming; this captivating country welcomed 12.9 million international visitors in the first nine months of 2019, 11% higher than the same period last year.

Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh Bay will become the group’s second seafront resort in the country, following Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc. A third project, Radisson Blu Resort Hoi An, is also in the pipeline.
