Book Malaysia’s attractions on mobile app

-

KUALA LUMPUR, 31 October 2019: Wonderfly Holdings, headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, launched a mobile app that allows users to discover and book attractions including tickets to museums and theme parks at various locations in Malaysia.

The mobile app delivers an online booking experience, instant confirmation, and an e-redemption reward programme.

The app is available in three languages of Bahasa Melayu, Chinese and English, and it is for iOS and Android devices. It is available for download at no cost.

Wonderfly CEO and co-founder Triston Puah said: “We are excited to launch our mobile app, a new platform for Malaysians to easily book tickets to attractions and make a secure payment right on the app itself, hassle-free.”

He added: “We have had a website for people to book attractions since 2017 and now we are expanding into a mobile app to make bookings a much easier and convenient process for our users.”

The release of the mobile app should be a good fit for  82% of customers who book attractions from Wonderfly using mobile devices.

“There are many things to do and places to visit in Malaysia, but many attractions still operate offline, and their visibility in the market is low. So, at Wonderfly, we don’t only run an online booking platform, but we also provide services to help offline operators to embrace online marketing.

“Our goal is to digitize the supply chain in this industry, and we are starting with Malaysia. We are working to make Wonderfly become the go-to app for booking tickets for animal parks, museums, theme parks and other attractions,” Puah explained.

Version 1.0 of Wonderfly mobile app has just been released a few weeks ago.

Wonderfly mobile app is equipped with e-tickets where customers will receive their tickets on a tab inside the app. They can download the tickets into their smartphone to access them at any time even if their phone is offline. The facility provides convenience for customers as they can just present their e-ticket with a QR code on it at the door.

“When tickets are already in their possession, customers no longer need to line up for a paper ticket – an experience many are familiar with already when they go to a cinema.”

In addition to local travellers, Wonderfly mobile app’s content also targets visitors from outside of Malaysia.

“The release of Wonderfly mobile app is also in time for Visit Malaysia 2020. So, people coming from overseas can also enjoy attractions in cities such as Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Ipoh, just like the locals,” Puah concluded. Wonderfly is an emerging online booking platform for tour activities and services in Southeast Asia. It also provides travel services including pocket Wi-Fi, airport transfer, as well as, choices of local delicacies. Wonderfly Holdings Sdn. Bhd. is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
