HANOI, 4 September: Heritage Line introduced its brand new cruise boat, Ylang, mid-August for a series of cruises on Vietnam’s Lan Ha Bay.
The bay is less travelled than its famous neighbour Halong Bay but is known side excursions featuring cycling and hiking in Cat Ba National Park.
Ylang features 10 onboard suites and the first-ever two-night wellness package “Senses of Lan Ha.”
Wellness sessions conducted onboard include tutorials on meditation, Tai Chi and a spa. The cruise menu also focuses on healthy gastronomy.
To introduce the Ylang experience the company is offering a 15%, discount to celebrate the arrival of the latest Heritage vessel that sails exclusively on Lan Ya Bay.
The signature experience “Senses of Lan Ha” is a three-day/two-night cruise sailing Lan Ha Bay, which is the lesser-known extension of Halong Bay. The starting price for the wellness-themed package is USAD546 per person double sharing occupancy.
Lan Ha Bay stretches almost all around the eastern coastline from the northern to the southern tip of Cat Ba island, which is the largest island in the area. It noted for its limestone pillars and tiny islets covered shrubs and vegetation rising from the sea in the Gulf of Tonkin.
Ylang’s Welcome Package departures in 2019 come with a 15% discount from USD448 to USD560 for a two-night sailing per person.
The company’s Hidden Worlds cruise on Lan Ha Bay has a starting price of USD302 for the two-day experience per person.
