Aman builds in Nai Lert Park

SINGAPORE, 12 September 2019: Resort brand Aman has signed a long-term partnership with Nai Lert Group to manage a hotel and branded residences offering long-term leasehold ownership.

This will be Aman’s first hotel and residences in Bangkok, and the second in Thailand after Amanpuri in Phuket.

Under the terms of the agreement, Aman and Nai Lert Group will develop a hotel and residences project, with construction works due to be completed in 2022.

Aman chairman and CEO Vladislav Doronin commented: “Thailand holds a special place in our hearts ever since the conception of Amanpuri, and our brand, in Phuket over 30 years ago.

“Aman Nai Lert Bangkok will be situated in its namesake iconic central city parkland and will further cement our vision to bring the Aman ethos to global cities. Nestled in the century-old tropical gardens of Nai Lert Park, Aman Nai Lert Bangkok will offer a unique connection to the rich heritage and history of Bangkok enhanced by the gracious traditions of Thailand.”

Nai Lert Group is making its entry into the ultra-luxury segment with the upcoming mixed-use project, Aman Nai Lert Bangkok.

Nai Lert Group managing director Naphaporn Bodiratnangkura commented: “We are very pleased to be working with world-renowned hotel and resort brand Aman, which shares our values of delivering exquisite customer experiences.”

Aman founded in 1988  opened its first property in Phuket, Thailand. Since then, Aman has acquired 38* hotels and resorts in 22 destinations across the world.

Future openings include Aman Kyoto (2019), Aman New York (2020) and Amanvari in Mexico (2020).

*Hotels are located in Bhutan, Cambodia, China, the Dominican Republic, France, Greece, Indonesia, India, Italy, Japan, Laos, Mexico (2020), Montenegro, Morocco, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia (2023) Sri Lanka, Thailand (Bangkok 2022), Turkey, the Turks & Caicos Islands, the USA (New York 2020) and Vietnam.
