Ingenico opens new payment hub

SINGAPORE, 2 August 2019: Ingenico is introducing its latest payment channel solution TravelHub to travel companies across Asia.

Ingenico Group listed Euronext: FR0000125346 – ING, has been a leader in the payment industry for more than 30 years headquartered in Paris. It embarked on expansion in Asia starting with Japan in 2016.

In its latest move, Ingenico Group has launched TravelHub, a solution that connects travel companies with Ingenico’s global payment processing capabilities across Asia, Latin America and Europe.

In Southeast Asia alone, online travel businesses reached USD30 billion in gross booking value in 2018 and are headed towards USD78 billion by 2025.

TravelHub allows travel companies to access more than 150 payment methods – including credit cards and alternative payment solutions – and currency options relevant for their customers.

It offers smart transaction routing capabilities across all payment platforms and integrates with airline global distribution systems (GDS), such as Amadeus, Sabre and Navitaire, and hotels’ property management systems (PMS).

Ingenico’s is increasing its focus on travel, an industry where it has enjoyed a long business history with airlines, hotels and online travel agents (OTAs).
