Hanoi opens F1 ticket sales

HANOI, 1 August 2019: Tickets for the F1 Vietnam Grand Prix 2020 went on sale last week with the cheapest tickets costing around USD30. 

The Vietnamese capital will host the city street race 24 to 30 July 2020.

VIP grandstand and general admission tickets are up for grabs for single days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) or as three-day combination ticket.

Hospitality ticket prices for a three-day combo range from VND49,330,000 (USD2,140) to VND96,500,000  (USD4,190). The higher-priced tickets give purchasers access to food, entertainment and other privileges.

There are also grandstand tickets include a premium grandstand, standard grandstand and unreserved grandstand. The three-day tickets costs from VND3,890,000 (USD170) to VND9,090,000 (USD395), while the cheapest one-day ticket is VND1,560,000  (USD67).

Meanwhile, general admission prices range from VND700,000  (USD30) to VND1,750,000 (USD76).

F1 race fans can buy tickets at www.f1vietnamgp.com, https://www.adayroi.com.

The race will take place around the My Dinh Sports Complex in Hanoi’s Nam Tu Liem district with a German company responsible for building the 5.5km street course.

Estimated to cost USD60 million, the entire project will be financed by Vingroup, the exclusive sponsor of the F1 race in Vietnam. It has signed a deal to host the Grand Prix for eight years.
