AirAsia adds Narita flights

SEPANG, 21 August 2019: AirAsia X Malaysia CEO Benyamin Ismail announced Tuesday a new direct service between Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo – Narita, that will start 20 November.

Benyamin said on his Instagram account (@BenyaminIsmail): “Our guests can now fly from Kuala Lumpur to Tokyo, Japan, either through Narita Airport or Haneda Airport, giving them more flexibility on flight times and connectivity.”

“These new services are in response to overwhelming consumer demand and ahead of what will be a big year for Tokyo tourism in 2020. 

The airline will operate from two airports in Tokyo with different flight times to offer more connecting services to other cities within the airline’s network.

In the video announcement, it was revealed that AirAsia BIG member fares from Kuala Lumpur to Tokyo – Narita will be on sale from MYR199** one-way for standard seats, available for booking from now until 25 August at airasia.com or the AirAsia mobile app.

 The travel period runs from 20 November 2019* to 28 March 2020. A Premium Flatbed will also be on sale from MYR999* one-way for the same booking and travel period.

AirAsia currently operates seven weekly flights between Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo – Haneda, as well as 21 weekly flights between Bangkok – Don Mueang and Tokyo – Narita.

The four weekly services from Kuala Lumpur to Tokyo – Narita commencing from 20 November 2019* will deliver over 156,000 additional visitor seats through Narita Airport annually.
