Hotel group taps Chinese foodies

BANGKOK, 4 July 2019: Meituan a Chinese food delivery e-commerce platform has signed a content agreement to offer Compass Hospitality Hotel Group content and booking options to Chinese foodies.

Compass Hospitality’s hotel content including rates and booking capability has been uploaded to both the Meituan App and Dianping App.

Meituan is best known for its on-demand food delivery and its in-store dining services in China. But it offers additional channel services including hotel content bookings

Now they can book Compass Hospitality hotels in destinations in Thailand, Malaysia and even the UK.

“Meituan is an ideal platform for us to engage with Chinese travellers … From a strategic perspective, we hope this partnership will enhance our reach,” said Compass Hospitality senior vice president, business development & operations Tejinder Sidhu.
