BANGKOK, 18 July 2019: The Thailand Grand Sale is back with prizes and vouchers at leading department stores, according to the campaign’s partners Tourism Authority of Thailand and Visa Thailand.

Tourism Authority of Thailand’s deputy executive director East Asia region, Santi Sawangcharoen, (left) and Visa Thailand senior director, Naporn Inkatanuvatana, (right) launched the Thailand Grand Sale 2019 earlier this week.

The Thailand Grand Sale runs until 31 August 2019 and focuses on department stores along the famous shopping street of Sukhumvit, including Amarin Plaza, Central Chidlom, Central Embassy, Emporium, EmQuartier, Erawan Bangkok, Gaysorn, Paragon, Terminal 21, and Zen.

Under this year’s campaign, both foreign and Thai shoppers can win prizes, including vouchers worth up to THB1,000 baht when spending a minimum of THB2,000 per receipt on their Visa cards.

In addition, Visa cardholders will be able to access privileges through Visa’s very own premium platform, including attractive lifestyle privileges and experiences in Thailand.

Based on Visa’s travel insights, Bangkok is one of the top destinations for international tourist arrivals in 2018, alongside Paris, Tokyo London and Barcelona.
