Cross border tours to Yunnan

-

CHIANG RAI, 8 July 2019: Local travel entrepreneur and tourism industry leader, Kitti Tissakul will open a new tour linking Chiang Rai to destinations in China through his company Glow Legend Tour.

His new VIP tour will take travellers across the border from Chiang Rai to Laos and then to China with stops in Jinghong, Lijiang, Shangrila in Yunnan province.

“I am creating this tour as a B2B project to connect business people in Chiang Rai with their counterparts in Yunnan province… yes, it’s a tour for VIPs that will inaugurate the route by air from Chiang Rai to Dali direct and offer tour options to Lijiang and Shangrila.”

The inaugural trip scheduled 19 to 24 September and sells at THB39,000, for six days and five nights, flying to Jinghong Dali and Lijiang.

The group will stay two nights in the World Heritage town, Lijiang, visiting the ancient town district and ethnic minority villages for cultural presentation.

The highlight is the trip is a visit to the “snow dragon” mountain that stands 4,500 metres high.

The tour winds up with a high-speed train ride from Dali to Kunming where there is an opportunity to meet local business people for discussions.

Kitti says this is not a shopping trip but rather a specialised B2B networking visit.

“I have designed it for foodies who love to experiment and explore local food but the itinerary is also suited for photography and there are opportunities to interact with Chinese businesses for networking and building investment opportunities.”

Price includes flights, high-speed trains, food, accommodation, visa, but excludes chauffer fees calculated at 20 yuan per day per person
