BANGKOK 14 June 2019: Bangkok Airways will shift its passenger service system to Amadeus Altéa solutions, which will include reservations, inventory, and ticketing and departure control capabilities.

The new system will help the airline enhance the passenger experience by delivering more consistent and personalised services and improve operational efficiency.

Bangkok Airways president, Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth said: “Bangkok Airways has chosen the Amadeus Altéa passenger service system to transform the airline’s core technology systems…Tangible benefits include faster check-in for travellers, the ability to re-accommodate disrupted travel in a matter of seconds and improve on-time performance.”

As Bangkok Airways currently partners with 27 leading airlines it will enable real-time sharing of availability, fares, customer and booking information, Altéa enables better integration between partner airlines.

The airline plans to migrate their Passenger Service System to the Amadeus Altéa Suite 13 at 1700 and complete the migration on 14 July at 1800 Bangkok Time (GMT+7).
