Buddhist retreats in Aman resorts

BANGKOK, 4 June 2019: Buddhist tourism brings a new experience to the resort stay with a series of six-night retreats scheduled at four Aman resorts in the Mekong region.

Branded Journey to Peace the six-night retreats will run at different resort venues from 24 October through to 28 November.

Retreats will be led by Buddhist monk and mindfulness coach, Geshe Yong Dong.

The series kicks off at the Amanoi, 22 to 28 October, Vinh Hy Bay, in Vietnam.

Other retreat are:
Amanpuri, 2 to 8 November, in Phuket;
Amansara, 12 to 18 November, in Siem Reap;
Amantaka, 22 to 28 November, in Luang Prabang.

Each day, the retreat will focus on one of five key concepts designed to challenge and change the mindset to promote a healthier lifestyle.

The Tsa Lung breathwork and meditation, as well as two individual 90-minute sessions with Geshe, a therapeutic spa treatment and a 60-minute evening session of chanting, mantra recitation and meditation, will take place daily.
