BANGKOK, 31 May 2019: Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok has named veteran hotelier, Bruno Huber, as its new general manager.

Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok in the same parkland as the BDMS Wellness Clinic close to Ploenchit’s shopping malls and embassies.

A Swiss hotelier with three decades of management experience, Huber is one of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts’ longest-serving executives, having spent more than 15 years with the group.

He joined Mövenpick in 2003 as GM of Mövenpick Resort El Quseir Red Sea in Egypt and went on to successfully manage a series of Mövenpick properties across the Middle East and Asia Pacific. He also served as the group’s vice president operations – Asia.

Most recently, he was GM of Mövenpick Resort Cam Ranh and director of operations for Vietnam. He has also managed hotels in several destinations across Thailand, including Bangkok, Phuket, Samui and Chiang Rai.

Dusit Medical Services purchased the former Nai Lert Park Hotel and rebranded the 294-room hotel a Mövenpick. The hospital group owns and operates 45 hospitals in Thailand and neighbouring countries.
