HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam 13 May: Hospitality group Fusion brings back former team member, Hylton Lipkin, as the group’s general manager at Alba Wellness Valley by Fusion.
The natural hot springs resort and hotel is located on the outskirts of Vietnam’s former imperial capital Hue.
A member of the Openasia group, Alba Wellness Valley boasts natural, mineral-rich hot springs with its own Japanese-style onsen and open-air geothermal baths.
It became the first independent hotel to join the Fusion management portfolio in December 2018.
A South African, Hylton has spent the last two decades honing his spa and management skills worldwide with roles in the Middle East, Europe, the USA and the Asia Pacific region.
His most recent role was as general manager of a boutique property Lao Poet Hotel in Vientiane, Lao’s capital.
Prior to that he was part of the Fusion organisation, working as executive assistant manager of Fusion Resort Phu Quoc, where he was also involved with pre-opening and the running of the property once it debuted.
Alba Wellness Valley includes the upscale Alba Wellness Resort Hue and the neighbouring Thanh Tan Hot Springs.
