DANANG 15 May 2019: Real estate developer Hoi An Royal Group has hired Dusit International to manage its latest Hoi An property due to open in 2021.
To be branded Dusit Thani Hoi An, it will be Thai hotel group’s second hotel in Vietnam after a property on Phu Quoc island under its Princess flag.
The Vietnamese real estate firm has a firm investment footing in Hoi An having opened the Hotel Royal Hoi An managed by Accor under its MGallery by Sofitel brand. It also owns and operates the 45-room Royal Riverside Hotel that overlooks the Hoai River facing Hoi An town.
Located in Dien Ban town district on the outskirts of the world heritage village of Hoi An, the group’s latest waterfront property will have 180 rooms and 69 villas, making it one of the largest resorts in the vicinity of Hoi An.
It will take just 30 minutes to transfer from the property to Danang airport, while Hoi An’s old town centre is a 15-minute ride away.
Hoi An welcomed almost 5 million visitors, last year, up 50% on the 2.4 million who visited in 2017.
