SINGAPORE, 24 April 2019: Expedia named its top 10 list of hot spots for eco-travellers to coincide with Earth Day celebrations Monday 22 May.

Claiming there’s a shift from being a passive tourist to being a mindful traveller who is keen to make thoughtful choices about destinations, Expedia says it came up with a list based on its global bank of over 8 million traveller reviews.

The global data showed the 10 best places to stay around the world, as reviewed by Expedia travellers*.

From boutiques with beehives and resorts with rainwater recycling, to grand urban retreats with solar cell power, many of these places show that luxury and sustainability are not mutually exclusive.
