SINGAPORE: 12 April 2019: Sabre Corporation has signed a new content distribution agreement with Firefly, a regional carrier in Southeast Asia, and a subsidiary of Malaysia Airlines.

Operating out of Penang and Subang hubs in Malaysia, Firefly provides connections to various points within Malaysia, South Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia.

Under this agreement, Firefly will further strengthen its network within the area known as the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT).

Firefly will be able to tap Sabre’s extensive global travel marketplace to gain more travel agency bookings.

“Joining Sabre’s Global Distribution System will enable us to reach our growth objectives, and to improve our distribution metrics, beyond the markets where we’ve been operating in recent years,” said Firefly CEO Philip

Sabre is used by 425,000 travel agents around the world.
