Red Elephant seals hotel deal

BANGKOK, 26 April 2019: Red Elephant Reps win representation deal for Memoire Hotels & Resorts in Cambodia.

The latest representation contract gives the company three hotels in Siem Reap, Cambodia, following its recent appointment to represent Le Bel Air in Luang Prabang in Laos.

Last month. the group concluded a representation deal with HTOO Hospitality that owns and manages boutique hotels in 11 destinations in Myanmar.

The three latest additions to the Red Elephant Reps’ portfolio are Memoire Palace Resort & Spa, the 48-room Memoire d’Angkor Boutique Hotel and the Memoire Siem Reap Hotel.

The founder of Red Elephant Reps, Paul Tomasch said: “Our partnership with Memoire is definitely going to appeal to customers seeking a touch of luxury in Siem Reap, the gateway to Angkor.”

Red Elephants Reps has also signed a contract to represent Le Bel Air Resort in Luang Prabang, Laos.

The rep firm said the move would help the resort tap markets that delivering more tourists to the northern Lao heritage town

“With an increase in travellers wanting to visit Laos, Le Bel Air Resort is understandably wanting to make the most of this interest,” said Red Elephant Reps chief sales officer Ian Woods. “Our global sales team is looking forward to supporting the hotel to drive more direct corporate and leisure bookings.”

Located on the Nam Khan riverbank, overlooking the UNESCO-listed World Heritage town, the four-star resort

is a 20-minute walk from the city centre, while Luang Prabang International Airport is a 10-minute drive away.

  1. The global reach suggested by Red Elephant is interesting but how many of these people are actually stand alone employees of Red Elephant? How many are also working for a DMC or acting as reps for other companies? I guess I am asking how many actual full-time employees does Red Elephant have to delver what they say?
