HANOI, 26 March 2019: Vietnam Tourism Association will host the Vietnam International Tourism Mart 27 to 30 March at the International Exhibition Centre, in Hanoi.
Adopting a theme “Green Tourism” VITM Hanoi will focus on the development of ecotourism, environment protection and responses to climate change.
Vietnam National Administration of Tourism said the mart would honour green enterprises during the VITA Awards.
On the sidelines of the travel mart, the organisers are hosting workshops on how to grow the nation’s tourism industry as well as improve career opportunities in tourism.
The highlight of the mart will be a forum on green tourism 27 March, according to VNAT. It should attract around 1,000 delegates who are representatives from state management agencies on tourism, leaders of travel enterprises and ecotourism projects.
VITM Hanoi 2019 will have around 500 booths with enterprises and tourism promotional agencies from 47 provinces and cities throughout the country participating including exhibitors from 25 countries.
There are 710 enterprises registered to participate such as Korea Tourism, Vietravel, Hanoi Redtours, Vietnam Airlines and Hanoitourist.
