Thai Smile expands in India

BANGKOK, 27 March 2019: Thai Smile Airways will introduce new services from its Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi airport base to Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai in India, effective 31 March.

Owned by Thai Airways International, the airline will offer five flights weekly on the route to Kolkata using an A320-200 aircraft.

Flight time is two hours and 40 minutes and an economy class fare starts at THB9.400.

Parent airline Thai Airways International will continue to offer a service to Kolkata.

Also, effective 31 March, the airline will add new services to Lucknow (LKO) with three flights weekly and to Mumbai (BOM) daily.

Fares on the Lucknow route start at around THB7,271 for the three-hour and 45-minute flight. In the route to Mumbai the Thai Smile fare will start at THB11,078.

The airline offers two-class travel with Smile Plus (premium economy) and Smile Class (economy class).

Quoted fares include inflight meal, seat selection and checked baggage allowance.
