MUMBAI 28 February 2019: Skal International Mumbai South was inaugurated on 22 February at a ceremony hosted at the ITC Maratha hotel, Mumbai International Airport.

It’s the second club in Mumbai started with 35 members, who were joined by Skal International club members from elsewhere in India and representatives from Skal’s Asia committee.

Skal’s upcoming Asia Area Congress in Bangalore will be hosted 27 to 30 June and Skal World Congress takes place in Miami USA this September  with around 2,000 travel and tourism professionals attending.

Speaking at the club’s inaugural, Skal International India president Ranjini Nambiar said: “ Growth of Skal India in the last six months has been phenomenal. We have opened three clubs taking the count to 14 clubs with 1183 members.

“Our vision was 20 Clubs by 2020, looks like we have to raise our bar higher to reach out to potential members across the length and breadth of this vast country”
