Rosewood readies for Bangkok opening

-

BANGKOK, 22 February 2019: Rosewood Bangkok, due to open 31 March, is now accepting bookings and launching a pre-opening social media campaign on Facebook and Instagram.

The 30-floor property in Bangkok’s Ploenchit district features two high-rise structures on a site connected to the BTS Station and close to embassies, office towers and malls.

Adding 159 rooms to Bangkok’s competitive upscale hotel market the property will have four restaurants a spa, fitness studio and an indoo-outdoor saltwater swimming pool, plus meeting space.

The group named Thomas Harlander as the hotel’s managing director.

To mark Rosewood Bangkok’s entry into an extremely competitive market introductory offers are available until 30 June on the website. It quotes a THB9,450 rate for a deluxe room (king or twin)

The rate is named pretentiously “Redefining Bangkok” for its choice of a complimentary option, a one-way airport transfer, a daily breakfast, or a basic spa treatment.

Agoda.com is not posting rates for the property, although Expedia offers rates for April bookings starting at THB9,450 a night for a non-refundable deal through to THB12,200 that allows free cancellation. The rates include breakfast.
