PATTAYA, 13 February 2019: The award-winning Royal Cliff Hotels Group recently welcomed back for the third time the Racing Pigeon International Association (RPIA) for their royal trophy ceremony and the Pattaya International Pigeon Race (PIPR) Auctions 2019.
The event was held at the newly revamped Royal Summit Chamber in the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel.
Heading for Pattaya, the first race was launched in 2016 from Buayai, Korat a distance of 330 km, followed by races from Khon Kaen (430 km) and Udon Thani (530 km).

Overall, the competition has seen 3230 pigeons fly the courses and has drawn attention from more than 400 pigeon fans from 27 nations across the world including Dhanin Chearavanont, chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group, who joined the event.
The Racing Pigeon International Association (RPIA) has held Pattaya International Pigeon Race (PIPR) annually since 2016.
Numerous pigeons are released from their cages to race a significant distance, which was well received by both Thai and foreign pigeon enthusiasts.
This year, winners get the chance to win up to THB25 million and a brand new luxury-class car.
