Avani opens in Siem Reap

-

BANGKOK, 26 February 2019: Avani Hotels & Resorts will enter the Cambodian market through a management contract signed with the owners of Siem Reap’s FCC Angkor that has been closed for renovations.

The owners have invested USD7 million on a renovation that includes opening 60 new rooms.

The colonial style property is due to reopen its doors in the second quarter of the year rebranded “FCC Angkor – Managed by Avani.”

Located across from the Royal Independence Gardens and Royal Residence, FCC Angkor is built around the former mansion of the French colonial governor that for a spell was also the town’s Foreign Correspondence Club.

Under the Avani management agreement the property will also be a member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts according to the owner’s representative, Susan Devine.
