YANGON, 13 February 2019: Hotel management firm, Andacura, signed its first hotel in Myanmar a four-star hotel in Taunggyi City, Shan State, due to open this September.

Part of the Mai-BS Hospitality group, based in Bangkok, Andacura signed off on the management deal with property owner Good To Go Travels and Tours Company Limited.

The 60-room boutique hotel is located in the centre of the city, which is the administrative capital of Shan State.

Taunggyi city stands on a mountain ridge, 1,500 metres above sea level with views of Inle Lake, considered one of the top tourist attractions in Myanmar, that spreads out across a valley at the base of the mountains.

Andacura Hotels and Resorts is headed by CEO and managing director, Klaus R. Rauter.

The deal to manage the boutique hotel was signed with Good To Go Travels and Tours Company Limited’s managing director, Thaw Zin Maung Maung.

The hotel’s owning company says it will develop a collection of boutique hotel and resorts in Myanmar.
