SINGAPORE, 7 January 2019: WebBeds confirmed at the weekend the departure of Ben Woods, the group’s managing director in Southeast Asia.
Woods who was previously head of the online travel agency’s business across Southeast Asia, decided to leave the business at the end of December 2018.
WebBeds’s statement noted that Woods had been a committed and valuable member of the team.
A new general manager for WebBeds Thailand and Indo-China, Ms Jintana Porntanapat has since been appointed.
Jintana was formerly regional product manager for DOTW according the statement signed by Kok Sheng Sun, chief commercial officer and Cyndi Ng, chief operating officer, WebBeds APAC
WebBeds FZ is a subsidiary of Webjet Limited, operating its B2B travel business through FIT Ruums, JacTravel, TotalStay, Lots of Hotels and Sunhotels brands.
