Vietjet links Hanoi and Tokyo

SINGAPORE, 15 January 2019: Vietjet has introduced its latest flight connecting Hanoi and Tokyo’s Narita International Airport.

The latest route follows the launch of a Hanoi to Osaka route and the Ho Chi Minh City to Osaka route, making it the third service to Japan.

Effective 11 January, the airline is now offering a daily flight that departs Hanoi at 0055 and arrives in Tokyo at 0800. Flight time is six hours.

The return flight takes off at 0930 and lands in Hanoi at 1400.

“The launch of this new route brings a new travel option for travellers from Tokyo, and the Kanto region to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, from where they have easy access to many more of the World’s famous destinations such as Sapa, Halong Bay, Trang An and Son Doong cave,” said Vietjet vice president, Do Xuan Quang.
