Lanmei Airlines taps China travel

PHNOM PENH, 22 January 2019: Cambodia’s Lanmei Airlines will add more fights to China to meet a growth in tour bookings to Cambodia in February and March.

The airline will introduce flights from Siem Reap to Chinese cities late January and continue through to the end of March.

Siem Reap, home to the UNESCO Angkor Historical Park gains most of the new services, which should boost travel from China and increase bookings for the town’s hotels.

Based on advance timetable information from Airlineroute the following new flights are scheduled:

Siem Reap to Nanjing, 1 to 19 February, three weekly using A320s;

Siem Reap to Ningbo, 29 January to 28 February, three weekly using A320s;

Siem Reap to Wuhan, 26 January to 30 March, three weekly, using A321s .

Scheduled charters flights from Siem Reap to Taiyuan operate every four to fived days through to 31 March.

Siem Reap to Yangzhou/Taizhou will operate from 5 February to 28 March also every four to five days using A321s

The airline will increase services from China to Sihanoukville with three weekly A320 flights from Kunming from 29 January to 30 March and from Zhengzhou, 27 January to 27 March, twice weekly also using an A320.

The Chinese-backed airline launched operations in 2017 with a leased A319 two A321s and one A320
