SEPANG, 25 January 2018: AirAsia is offering low fares for Chinese New Year holiday week to various regional destinations including its latest direct route to Chiang Rai
All-in fares for members are pegged as low as MYR28 for one-way flights from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan, Alor Setar, Kota Bahru, Kuala Terengganu and Langkawi.
A one-way MYR88* from Kuala Lumpur to Bintulu, Chiang Rai, Shantou, Guilin and Shenzhen.
All-in members fares for AirAsia X flights from Kuala Lumpur to Chongqing, Tianjin, Jeju, Melbourne and Fukuoka are from MYR248* or fly on Premium Flatbed from Kuala Lumpur to Wuhan, Gold Coast, Seoul and Tokyo from MYR798*.
Fares are bookable up until 4 February 2019 for travel from 1 August 2019 to 4 February 2020.
However, advance bookings for the direct flight from Kuala Lumpur to Chiang Rai after 26 October were not active when TTR Weekly checked booking availability. Using check through service it was possible to book Kuala Lumpur-Chiang Rai with a change of plane in Bangkok, but not the direct flight.
During the festive holidays, 2 to 10 February, passengers should to self-check via the website, mobile app or airport kiosks, and to arrive at the airport at least three hours prior to flight departures.
