BANGKOK, 4 December 2018: Thais and their cars gain free entry to all of the country’s national parks over the New Year, 31 December to 1 January.

The fee waiver, effective across all national parks in the country, includes the fee for vehicles as well as people.

Around 1 million Thais will visit national parks over the festive season holiday.

During the festive season, 28 December to 2 January, it is customary for tollways and expressways, mostly in Bangkok and the central region close to the capital, to waive vehicle tollgate fees.

The Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation also announced at the weekend that the following holidays in 2019 would also come with free entrance for Thai visitors.
