BANGKOK, 12 December 2018: Thai Airways International is offering more flights to Sapporo to serve tours bound for Hokkaido’s famed ski resorts.
In conjunction with the extra flights the airline is offering Royal Orchid Holidays tour packages through to the end of the winter timetable, 31 March 2019.
Flights have increased from daily to 10 per week between Bangkok and Sapporo, the capital of Hokkaido Island.
Commenting on the additional flights, THAI executive vice president commercial, Wiwat Piyawiroj, noted THAI flights meet the steady increase in demand for air travel between Thailand and Japan.
But the additional services will also cater to Thai passengers, who enjoy traveling to Sapporo, especially during the winter season.
In conjunction with the new flights THAI is offering two Royal Orchid Holidays package tours to Hokkaido.
A three-day, two-night Hokkaido WinterBreak package has a starting price of THB18,700 per person (inclusive of a round-trip fare in economy class, hotel accommodation, and breakfast, as well as JR train tickets if the hotel specified in the programme is selected)
A five-day, four-night Hokkaido Snow Forever Fun package has a starting price of THB36,300 per person (inclusive of round-trip fare in economy class, JR train tickets from Sapporo to the airport, ground transportation from the airport to the ski resort and breakfast), as well as 1,200 Royal Orchid Plus miles.
