PHUKET, 20 December 2018: The fourth edition of the Thailand Yacht Show & RendezVous is set to take place in Phuket, 10 to 13 January, 2019, at the height of the island’s peak season.

Centrally located on the east coast of the island, Royal Phuket Marina hosts the show as part of a joint collaboration between the Thai government and the private sector to raise Phuket’s yachting status.

Targeting yachting enthusiasts and wealthy lifestyle-seekers from across Asia, the Thailand Yacht Show & RendezVous is now a key marketing platform and revenue generator for the boating industry, as well as positioning Thailand as a primary Asian destination in the world yachting arena.

Heading the show’s management Verventia’s CEO, Andy Treadwell said: “We are driving awareness of this spectacular yachting destination globally, and expect to see more foreign yacht owners coming to discover the extraordinarily beautiful cruising waters, the first-class hospitality and luxury tourism offerings that await them in Phuket and all around the Kingdom.”

The 2019 show is set to welcome the biggest turnout of international yachts. The exhibitor line-up includes all the best-known yacht brands and brokers, charter agencies, high-end property developers, bespoke travel organisers and leading names in the automotive, hospitality and food and beverage industries.

A special Superyacht hub will be located at the neighbouring private island of Koh Rang Noi, where up to a dozen very large yachts, too big to enter the marina, will be displayed by Asia Marine, Burgess, Fraser Yachts and Simpson Marine.

The show will present a full range of boating options displayed by small sailboat manufacturers and mega yacht builders, as well as jet-skis, navigation systems and chandlery to the latest watersport toys.

Thailand Yacht Show & RendezVous is also collaborating with GoAir one of India’s fastest growing airlines to promote yachting in Thailand to millions of Indian boaters.

Organisers want to highlight how Phuket is a convenient marine playground for would-be boat buyers from India to adopt.

To this end, GoAir is offering an exclusive 50% discount deal to entice Indian boaters to visit the show. Show visitors around the world will qualify for the deal, whether coming from or going to India.
