Nihi Sumba partners with Rascal voyages

-

SINGAPORE, 6 December 2018: Indonesia’s Rascal Voyages will partner with Nihi Sumba hotel as a port of call for cruises of Indonesia’s vast archipelago.

The brand-new itineraries will eliminate the necessity for internal flights within Indonesia, enabling guests to sail to and from Nihi Sumba.

Tucked away on one of Indonesia’s most unexplored islands, Nihi Sumba was voted best hotel in the world twice by Travel + Leisure readers in all categories for the 2016 & 2017 World’s Best Awards.

The 33-villa resort property will offer a private Rascal yachting experience around the archipelago at either end of their Sumba stay.

The 30-metre ‘phinisi’ yacht combines the traditional phinisi hull architecture with the mod cons of a Western superyacht.

The first itinerary from Komodo to Sumba, removes the need to board a domestic flight to Sumba – instead, guests will be met at Komodo Airport by the Rascal crew, before departing on three-night cruise, taking in stop and tours of Mount Agung, Gili Islands, Mount Rinjani, Gili Moyo and Komodo National Park – some of the most spectacular sights in the Indonesian Archipelago.

Another itinerary sails from Sumba to Bali, for an eight-night cruise to Bali’s Benoa harbour. Along the way, guests visit Komodo National Park, Mount Rinjani, Gili Mayo, the Gili islands and Mount Agung.

Hold your breath, itineraries start at US$35,483 based on a minimum of seven nights (nights nights on board Rascal and four nights at Nihi Sumba)
