CBS presents Thailand to Logitravel

GRANADA, Spain, 29 November 2018: CBS Travel Asia’s product director, Sasimol Ussamarn, introduced the company’s products at the Logitravel Group’s conference for worldwide product managers, 27 November.

She outlined CBS Travel’s corporate culture and product range to top managers at Logitravel Group’s first worldwide product conference, since its acquisition of CBS.

More than 85 product executives and management of Logitravel Group from worldwide offices attended the event to hear various country presentations.

It was the first detailed briefing on Thailand since the Logitravel acquired the leading Thai destination management company last July.

Spain’s Logitravel Group bought a stake in CBS Travel Asia that opened the door for the Spanish online travel agency to expand its footprint to Asia’s major leisure travel markets.

It group has 13 offices, worldwide, in Europe, South America and Dubai including the CBS Travel Asia base that will cover expansion in Asia.

CBS Travel Asia operates as the regional partner of Smyrooms, the Logitravel Group bed bank a network that reaches more than 1,000 online travel agents, tour operators and B2B partners.

Through CBS Travel Asia, Logitravel Group is now poised to extend its footprint to Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia and Laos starting in 2019.

Logitravel Group boasts more than 800 employees with extensive experience in the tourism industry. In 2017, the group’s companies recorded a turnover of 685 million euros, up 8% on the previous year.
