Agoda partners with Line in Taiwan

-

TAIPEI, 13 November 2018: Agoda, a leading online accommodation booking platform, announced last week a partnership with LINE Travel, a prominent online travel metasearch and media app.

Under the agreement, Agoda will be the sole travel accommodation supplier for LINE Travel’s user-base in Taiwan.

From 28 November, LINE users in Taiwan can log into Agoda through their LINE accounts to book travel accommodation, ranging from hotels to apartments and vacations rentals. They will also be able to share their travel itinerary with their LINE friends and acquire LINE Points rebates on all qualifying bookings.

“Digitally savvy, mobile-first consumers in Taiwan increasingly turn to one-stop apps like LINE Travel, so we’re thrilled that through this partnership, LINE’s 19 plus million customers can access Agoda’s extensive range for properties including hotels, villas, hostels or Agoda homes, to plan their next trip. They can make direct bookings this way and also share itineraries with friends in their network.,” said Agoda managing director for Greater China, Spencer Low.

Agoda launched its e-commerce business from a base in Singapore in 2005. Since then it has grown to offer a global network of 1.8 million properties in more than 200 countries and territories, worldwide, offering travellers access to a wide choice of luxury and budget hotels, apartments, homes and villas.
