Vietjet expands Asian network

SINGAPORE, 1 October 2018: Vietjet has launched domestic flights from Nha Trang to Danang and plans a new international route linking Vietnam’s Phu Quoc to Seoul, Korea.

The Nha Trang to Danang fight should attract both international and local tourists, as it links two popular coastal cities.

The daily flight takes one hour departing Nha Trang at 1145 and arrives in Danang at 1245. The return flight departs Danang at 1320 and lands in Nha Trang at 1420.

The flight from Phu Quoc to Seoul (Korea) will also offer travellers a daily service starting 22 December with a flight time of around five hours and 30 minutes.

The flight will depart from Phu Quoc at 1530 arriving in Seoul at 2245. The return flight will depart from Seoul at 0145 and land in Phu Quoc at 0535. Travellers heading for Phu Quoc get a visa-free stay as long as they are not planning to travel to mainland Vietnam.

From its base in Bangkok, Thai Vietjet will launch two international routes one to Vietnam’s coastal city of Danang and the other to Taichung, in western Taiwan.

The Bangkok to Danang route will operate daily starting 15 October. Flights will depart at 1110 and will arrive in Danang at 1250. The return flight will depart from Danang at 1335 and will land in Bangkok at 1515.

Effective 3 November, the Bangkok to Taichung (Taiwan) route will start with five flights weekly departing Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The flight will depart from Bangkok 0900 and will arrive in Taichung at 1345. The return flight will depart from Taichung at 1430 and will land in Bangkok at 1715.
