Raising the profile of Thailand’s MICE venues

BANGKOK, 2 October 2018: Leaders in Thailand’s events business and members of the working group of the Thailand MICE Venue Standard met at the weekend.

Part of the agenda focused on the selection process for the next batch of candidates applying for the Thailand Mice Venue Standard.

Organised by the Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau, the working committee of Thailand MICE Venue Standards (TMVS) meets to supervise the process that guides venues that have applied for the nation-wide standard.

TCEB designed the Thailand standard, the first of its kind in the region and was subsequently assigned by the Ministers of Tourism of ASEAN to a create venue standard for the 10-nation group.  The first successful venues were awarded the regional certificates in August.
