London dine around with THAI

BANGKOK, 29 October 2018: Thai Airways International celebrated 45 years of flying between Bangkok and London, last week, with a dine around experience in London town.

To mark the occasion Thailand’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Pisanu Suvanajata (5th from left), presided over celebration event tagged Gourmet Odyssey: Flights of Fancy that moved around theme restaurants linked to THAI’s destinations.

Orgsanised by the airline and the London Restaurant Festival to celebrate 45 years of THAI flights to London, guests were also welcomed by THAI director, Europe department Jesada Chandrema (3rd from left), London Restaurant Festival founder and managing partner, Simon Davis (6th from left), THAI general manager UK and Ireland Nonthakorn Trakulpa (7th from left).

Over 150 guests attended, many of them Royal Orchid Plus Platinum and Gold card members as well as business partners.

Guests travelled on THAI branded buses to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, main courses, and desserts at three different restaurants in London that represented THAI’s most popular routes with visits to Laos Café representing Southeast Asia, Chisou from Japan, and Scarlett Green from the Australasia region, symbolic of travel with THAI from London to destinations across the Asia Pacific.
