IndiGo flies to Phuket

BANGKOK, 17 October 2018: IndiGo, one of India’s leading budget airlines will introduce a new service this November linking the Indian capital Delhi with Phuket, a popular holiday island in South Thailand.

It made an announcement last week confirming new routes to Phuket in Thailand and Male in the Maldives effective mid-November.

Using an Airbus A320 for the Phuket service, IndiGo will offer six flights weekly (except Wednesday) with a fare starting at Rs9,199.

According to Airlineroute timetable information the new flight starting 23 November will depart Delhi at 0100 and arrive in Phuket at 0640. The return flight will depart Phuket at 0740 and arrive in Delhi at 1035.

The Phuket launch will follow new services to the Maldives from Bangalore, Kochi and Mumbai.

Effective 15 November the airline inaugurates a twice weekly service to Male out of Bangalore. Also on the same day it will introduce a daily service from Kochi to Male and on the 16 November five weekly services from Mumbai.

In a recent press release IndiGo also announced it will start daily services to Kuala Lumpur from Bangalore and Delhi, effective 15 November.

IndiGo currently has a fleet of 189 Airbus A320 and 12 ATR aircraft. The airline offers over 1,200 daily flights and connects 49 domestic destinations and nine international destinations.
